NANCY CHAPMAN, President
Nancy, of Green Bay, was elected President of the NWBW last April. A member of NWBW since 1964, she had previously served on the board of directors for 12 years resigning in 1988. She was named NWBW Member Emerita the following year. Nancy was editor of the Wisconsin Women's Bowling Association's newsletter BOWLING ACTION FOR 25 YEARS. The state publication won many NWBW Awards. She founded the Wisconsin Women Bowling Writers and served as its president for 15 years. Nancy's NWBW honors include the Mary Janneto Award and the Jo Ettien Leiber Award.

JACKIE WYCKOFF, 1st Vice President
Jackie was appointed to fill the position of 1st Vice President at the reconvened board meeting in April 2004 and was re-elected to the position in 2005. She currently serves as Chairman of the Awards Brunch, Chairman of the policy Manual and serves on the merger task force. In 1998 she was elected to be the Charter Secretary-Treasurer of the newly-formed California Bowling Writers. She is also the editor of the Info-Link, Newsletter of the CBW. In 1999 Jackie won First Place in the NWBW "First Venture" category for her "Spare Times" association newsletter. Jackie has been bowling since the tender age of 8 and has held a 200 plus average for more than 25 years. She is a USA Bowling Bronze level coach and Peninsula WBA President and Hall of Fame member for Superior Performance.

HELEN LESH, 2nd Vice President
Helen, of Roseberg, has been a member of NWBW for 17 years having served as Director, 3rd Vice President and now 2nd Vice President. Amongst her many bowling activities, she co-chaired the Exchange Mart, and chaired the Arts & Crafts Fair for 13 years, helping to raise many dollars for the International Bowling Museum and Hall of Fame. Helen has been involved in bowling for 48 years at the local and Oregon state level. She is the recipient of the Mary Janneto award and photography contest awards. (Reelected 2006)

   
 

CHRIS BEARD, Secretary
Chris comes from a bowling family. Her bowling parents started her bowling at 6 yrs. old when she could hold a bowling ball with one hand. She contributed significantly to Vallejo, California bowling (more than 29 years) serving as President and was elected as a Life member and Hall of Fame member. She is married to a retired firefighter and they enjoy hot air ballooning. Chris loves to write about bowling in local newsletters, the California Golden Nugget and the Bowling World newsletter. In addition to membership in NWBW, she is a member of the California Bowling Writers club. Now she will ably serve NWBW as Secretary. (Reelected 2006)

BARBARA SPENCER, Treasurer
Barbara has served as president of the Women's Indiana State Bowling Association since July, 1991. She was first elected to the board as a director in 1985 and served one year as 1st vice-president before becoming president. Her greatest honor was induction into the WISBA Hall of Fame for Meritorious Service in 1996. On the national level, Barbara is chairman of the 2001 WIBC Nominating committee and last year was elected Treasurer of the National Women Bowling Writers Association. For almost 15 years, Barbara was the bowling correspondent for the Johnson County Daily Journal paper. She is a member of the Hoosier Women Bowling Writers and the Bowling Writers Association of America.

FRAN BUETTNER, Sgt-at-Arms
Director of NWBW 4 years, Chairman of the Dudley Peebles Photo Contest. Inductee of the Greater Springfield WBA Hall Of Fame in Springfield, MA Past President of Greater Springfield, 12 years and VP of Massachusetts WBA 1 yr. Originally from New York City, lived in Massachusetts 28 years, now resides in Florida. Mother of 4 (2 boys & 2 girls) Grandmother of 10 with one on the way. Enjoying NWBW for what it offers and the friendships I have gained.

BETH ANDERSON, Director No. 1
Beth was elected to the Director # 1 post in April 2004. She is from Ellisville, Mississippi and has been bowling for over 30 years. Beth currently is President of the Jones County WBA a position she has held for 12 years. On the local level she has chaired several committees and is acharter member of the JCWBA 600 Club. She has also been a TOP 10 average bowler for the past 20 years. In addition Beth serves as a Director on the Mississippi WBA where she is the State Newsletter Editor; State Historian; and Publicity Chair. Writing honors include 2004 Column Award and the Dudley Peebles Photography Award; 2003 Brunswick Award for Senior Story and YABA Story; 2002 Mary Jane Sporar Award for Senior Story; and 2001 Joellyn Rinnander Award for State Association Publication.

KATHY WATSON, Director No. 3
Kathy was reelected to the position of Director #3 at the reconvened board meeting in April 2006. She started bowling at the age of five, most distinguished bowling award was first place team at the WIBC sponsored Intercollegiate Championship tournament in 1965. Kathy has participated in thirty-one USBC tournaments. She is a member of the Les Dames de 700 and National 600 Clubs. Kathy designed and maintains the NWBW Website.

ELLEN GOSS, Director No. 4
Ellen has been involved with bowling since June of 1960 when a cousin encouraged her to join a family team. She has been hooked ever since. In 1982 Ellen started attending National Tournaments. When she was elected to the Dallas Women's Bowling Association, she started attending the National Conventions and joined the National Women Bowling Writers. Ellen wears many hats in the Texas bowling arena. And now she looks forward to this new role on the NWBW Board.

LYNN ANGLE, Director No. 5
Joining WIBC in 1964, Lynn has been a member of associations in Virginia, Nebraska and Missouri. An NWBW member for ten years, she has captured three NWBW writing awards, including the Mary Janetto Award, and four photography awards. Serving as St. Louis WBA Publicity Chairman, Lynn was instrumental in winning four years in a row the top award for the St. Louis display as well as being selected Writer of the Year for Missouri Women Bowling Writers in 1999. Lynn was elected President of MWBW in 2002. She has been active in all aspects of the St. Louis WBA. She has contributed articles for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the Missouri-Illinois Bowling News and The Sho-Me Bugle. She is talented and creative making displays, painting banners and making flyers and posters for approximately 40 bowling centers. (Reelected 2006)
