The National Women Bowling Writers Association will honor four special award recipients at their annual meeting luncheon in Tulsa, Oklahoma on April 25, 2005.The awards, named for honored members of NWBW, are presented each year to members who distinguish themselves with their promotion through the field of journalism.
Honored for 2005 are Donna Lonon, Waxahachie, TX - Mary Jannetto Award for the Outstanding NWBW Member in Promotion of Local Bowling; Helen Lesh, Roseburg, OR - Jo Ettien Lieber Award for Distinguished Service to the Game of Ten Pins; Carol Mancini, San Gabriel, CA - Alberta E. Crowe Award for Distinguished Service in the Communications Field; and Joellyn Rinnander, Surprise, AZ - The Helen Duval AMF Award for Outstanding Service to the Young American Bowling alliance.
